Responsibilities:
1. PR consulting and communication support for the Agency Clients (International Tobacco Company, Premium alcohol, Norwegian Seafood Council etc)
2. Messaging, strategies, mechanics development and complex PR campaigns implementation.
3. Media database building, loyalty programs running and media engagement:
constant work with journalists and media data bases updates; .
4. Press office services and news sharing programs:
media lists development, sending out press materials, follow-up and initiation of PR publications, initiation of comments and interviews of companies’ managers in media, providing titles with additional information upon request, tracking PR coverage and collecting clippings, PR report development.
5. PR support of HoReCa events:
initiating PR coverage of the events, sourcing out relevant events, development of press materials, media accreditation, hosting journalists during the event, providing assistance with questions, agreement and distribution of post PR materials, follow-up work and initiation of publications, coverage and collecting clippings, PR report development including PR coverage evaluation.
6. Press events and press trips organization:
development of scenario of the events and programs of the press trips, hosting editors and networking during events and trips, PR coverage tracking
7. Special projects and advertorials development:
recommending relevant magazines for placements, recommending relevant formats of integration into content as per magazine, sourcing relevant rubrics, recommending size of placements and forms of material etc, discussing with key magazines their opportunities (rubrics branding, sourcing right people for interviews, opportunities for creative solutions etc, special projects concepts development together with creative team in line with the campaign brief and magazines’ content, texts development, relevant pictures development or buying out (incl. handling financial documents), layouts, color proofs and reformats preparation, managing deadlines.
8. Monitoring of competitors’ activities and best practices:
analyzing correlation between ad volumes and number of free PR publications in magazines, finding out and classifying best examples of latest trends including non-standard inserts, PR special projects, promo activities, guerilla marketing, communication in shopping malls.
9. Issue and reputation management:
monitoring the media to evaluate public reaction and measure the impact on the reputation, development and constant revising of crisis strategies and crisis contingency plans, responding to media queries when a crisis emerges, taking immediate steps to arm Clients with the appropriate messaging, providing potential scenarios and how to respond to them, conducting messaging sessions to ensure key spokespeople are prepared.
